This month we reached a significant milestone of surpassing 1,000 days lost time injury free (LTI), meaning our facility has seen no time lost to injury as a direct result of the leadership and ongoing efforts from our staff to maintain an exceptional safety culture.
“We are proud of this achievement, where many of our staff operate or work near heavy equipment, such as forklifts, or automated warehouse systems, as well as handling a variety of objects including large and hazardous materials” says Jason Grace, ACE’s Production Controller.
While we are delighted to acknowledge and celebrate this, we continue to commit to demonstrating a strong safety culture in the years to come, by managing personal and collective safety through assessing risk before commencing tasks, reporting incidents and hazards, and conducting safety interactions and discussions.
